Chanel Haute Couture Runway Platforms

Custom made platform shoes handcrafted by Massaro Paris for Chanel Haute Couture. Made of buttery chocolate brown leather over a sculpted platform with huge avant-garde wooden spindle heels. Ankle strap with gold rhinestone edged buckle.

Style is noticeably similar to documented Pre-Fall 2009 runway shoes (please see last photo) These are in beautiful condition and even have scored soles to prevent slippage on the runway.

In excellent condition. These have a few minor flaws to mention. There  are two small chips in the brown finish- one on each heel exposing a gold layer underneath. There are also a few tiny rhinestones missing from each encrusted buckle closure.

"Massaro Paris has been the exclusive supplier for Chanel haute Couture shoes since the 1950s. Designs are created by Karl Lagerfeld and the shoes take about 40 hours to make by hand. only 150 pairs are made for Chanel haute Couture each year."
